Luminous Opal-Effect Pendant

I had 2 of these beautful cabochons in my stash from years ago, so it was time I made something with them. I've set this one in fine silver, with a backless setting to let the light shine through it. 

The chain is a sterling silver trace chain which is 18"

This eye-catching pendant features a luminous opal-effect cabochon set in a smooth sterling silver bezel. The stone shimmers with shifting tones of pink, gold, and blue, creating a radiant play of colour that catches the light beautifully from every angle.
