Garnet is the birthstone for January, and it always brings me lots of joy in these grey January days.
Traditionally garnets were thought to protect travellers and heal heart and blood problems. Garnet is also thought to help eliminate negative feelings and emotions (depression, guilt) and support self confidence and clear thinking.
It signifies love, and permanence.

This is a one of a kind piece - the pendant measures 11mm wide and about 14mm from the bottom to the top. The garnet is a freeform oval-ish shape, and is faceted on the top which lets the light bounce around and adds to it's sparkle. I've cut out the back of the pendant so the light can come through too.
The chain is sterling silver figaro style (my current fave as it's a little bit different!) and is 18" but I can change the length if you like (or add a little extender section so you can wear it as different lengths as the mood takes you - let me know!)

All sterling silver and 9ct gold jewellery will benefit from a polish with a jewellery polishing cloth. Used regularly this can keep tarnish at bay. Avoid contact with water for long periods, and chemicals.
