This freeform, facet topped opal is a beauty! I oxidised the inside of the silver setting so that the opal shimmers with dark, beautiful colours. I've taken photos from different angles so you can see the bluey/green hues and the dark red/ purple colours, but I will try and add a video to this listing to show off how the colours swirl and change as the light hits it from different angles.
As you can probably tell - I love this stone!
I also love working with freeform stones as I can play with how I set them. For this one I added a little dappled texture to the setting walls and added a textured silver ball to the loop.
The stone is approx 14mm x 9mm and the whole pendant from top of the loop to the bottom is 26.5mm
The chain is 16" but I can swap it out if you'd prefer a different length just let me know at checkout.

All sterling silver and 9ct gold jewellery will benefit from a polish with a jewellery polishing cloth. Used regularly this can keep tarnish at bay. Avoid contact with water for long periods, and chemicals.
