I love the deep mossy green gemstone Serpentine. I have set this stone in fine silver on a wide band sterling silver ring.
Serpentine apparently symbolises the life force of our planet.
The stone is 21mm x 15mm and is a freeform cut with beautiful facets on the top to bounce the light and add shimmer.
I've textured the band and setting which also allows the light to bounce and make the ring shine.
The texture was added using a special texturing hammer with circular indentations, but in a random pattern. It might be my new favourite texture!
The band is 8mm wide and the ring will fit a size Q
SORRY I CAN'T RESIZE THIS BAND BUT IF YOU'D LIKE SOMETHING SIMILAR I CURRENTLY HAVE THREE MORE SERPENTINE STONES WAITING TO BE MADE INTO SOMETHING LOVELY SO DO GET IN TOUCH - THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT SHAPES!

All sterling silver and 9ct gold jewellery will benefit from a polish with a jewellery polishing cloth. Used regularly this can keep tarnish at bay. Avoid contact with water for long periods, and chemicals.
